Sebastian Vettel says Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix felt like it was being run at "Equation 2 qualifying pace" considering how hot it was out on target.
As the matrix framed for the beginning of the Barcelona race, the track temperature hit a boiling 49'C.

Vettel added: "Everybody's tires were self-destructing and loads of drivers pitted genuinely early, so we had a go at something else by settling on a two-plug."
