Haas driver Kevin Magnussen wishes Formula 1 could visit a portion of the "better time" tracks in the US.
Magnussen made an unexpected re-visitation of Formula 1 in front of the 2022 mission, drafted in by Haas during pre-season testing after they disavowed Nikita Mazepin.
It was at the finish of the 2020 mission that Magnussen had withdrawn Haas and Formula 1, apparently for good, saying he missed the sensation of having the option to go after wins.
Furthermore, during his season and a piece away from the Formula 1 scene, Magnussen had the option to test sportscar and IndyCar activity, dashing in the IMSA SportsCar Title and the Grand Prix at Street America round of the 2021 IndyCar season.
Magnussen contended at a large group of famous circuits in IMSA, similar to Laguna Seca, Street Atalanta, Sebring, Watkins Glen and Long Ocean side, all tracks that Magnussen couldn't want anything more than to see spring up on the Formula 1 schedule.
Conceding it is basically impossible that Formula 1 vehicles could at present be set free around such scenes, that wouldn't stop Magnussen driving one there assuming he found the opportunity.
"These tracks are generally not in any way reasonable for it, yet it would be extraordinary enjoyable to drive a Formula 1 vehicle there," said Magnussen, according to Formule1.nl.
"As far as dashing, I'm a fanatic, I like it when circumstances become difficult and troublesome. Put me in a Formula 1 vehicle on any track, and I'll take the plunge."
