"We are McLaren F1. That is the very thing that we will remain, and we will remain possessing the dashing group.

"Our expressions for any organization would be we hold responsibility for dashing group. What's more, assuming anybody needs a discussion that is different to that, there's no discussion to be had."

In any case, Brown didn't limit McLaren trading out their Mercedes motor in 2026 for an alternate power unit producer.
