Alex Albon doesn't lament his bombed Saudi Arabian GP continue on Lance Stroll, which later procured him a network punishment.
Albon in the Williams and Aston Martin's Stroll waged war in the end phases of the race in Jeddah, Albon liking the opportunity to remove a point from the race.
That plan turned out badly however as Albon jumped down within, slamming into Stroll and finishing the race for the two of them.
The stewards investigated the occurrence and concluded that Albon was to be faulted, giving him a three-place lattice punishment for the forthcoming Australian Grand Prix, as well as putting two punishment focuses on his superlicence.
Addressing correspondents before his disciplines were declared, Albon clarified that for his psyche, the crash with Stroll was a hustling episode.
"Solid protection, however it's fine," he said.
"Went for the move, truly we're battling for grasp, we're not incredible on the brakes, but rather I put it all on the line, we were battling for certain focuses toward the end, basically trusting we would get a few focuses today.
"So I don't actually lament the move, it was simply, for me somewhat of a dashing episode."
Albon's partner Nicholas Latifi had crashed out of the race prior, following on from his passing accident.
Put to Albon that Latifi had asserted the FW44 is hard to drive, Albon said that it is for sure "interesting", however made sense of that when in its window it is a decent vehicle to drive and has pace.
"It is interesting, when it's in its window it's fine, it's really a decent vehicle to drive, we've had snapshots of that all through up to this point driving the vehicle, even toward the finish of the race we were fast truly," said Albon.
"So it's simply attempting to get it more predictable, capricious truly."
Walk said he believed he had passed on sufficient space for Albon to make the pass.
"He jumped and I felt like I left room, however I got a bang from behind," said the Canadian.
